Geilo born & bred, Daniel Kvammen has had an eventful year with the release of his debut album “Fremad i alle retninga“ including the hit song “Du fortenar ein som meg“, the EP “1988“ which came out in October, and his Xmas single “December 23“. After more than 60 concerts across the length and breadth of Norway, on Wednesday night he ties a ribbon on 2015 with his first ever show at Rockefeller.
Quite the line up for this occasional concert collaboration between ARC Studio and Revolver, with two of Norway’s most accomplished next generation of singer-songwriters Morten Myklebust and Jonas Alaska topped off with the space disco king himself Lindstrøm. The night begins at St Edmunds Church right next door, whilst Lindstrøm and Noble Dancer djs (aka film director Joachim Trier (Oslo 31. August, Reprise) and musician/producer Erlend Mokkelbost (Montée, KILLL, JR Ewing) continue in the basement of Revolver afterwards.
Birkelunden Mannskor were established in 2011, and since then have played over 30 concerts including the tv show “4-stjerners middag” on TV Norge, support for Bendik Brænne at Parkteatret, several performances for NRK, Costume Awards, Øyanatt at Revolver and John Dee. They’ll perform two concerts (18.30 & 21.00) at Sagene Church on Friday night.
