Red Bull Sound Select throw together another evening at Parkteatret filled with exciting young talent. This time they treat us to singer/songwriters Hanne Fjeldstad, Siv Jakobsen and Daniel Kvammen.
Hanne Fjeldstad has already played at Slottsfjell and the Øya Festival and is releasing her forth single this evening.
Siv Jakobsen is said to be an especially captivating live performer and has been compared to singers like Laura Marling and Ane Brun. Daniel Kvammen rounds of the evening with his low key, non the less intense, folk songs. There has also been talk about exclusive drops from his second album that is about to be released.
If you don’t really understand what reviewers mean when describing Huntsville as “yoga country” or “abstract drone americana” this is the night to find out. Just show up at Victoria Jazzscene on Thursday and expect to be amazed. This hypnotic improv trio will definitely hypnotize you with their electro-acoustic dreamscapes.
Having just collected heaps of praise for composing the music for theatre play “Songfuglen”, Sandra Kolstad is invited to play a series of intimate concerts at Det Norske Teatrets forth stage, “Bikuben”. Known for her electronic pop, strong visuals and club kitch drive, Sandra is one to watch. Go see the play and the concert!
