What?
Known for their spirited live shows and “brutal pop”, Cloroform is the experimental jazz trio you wouldn’t want to miss. Although exceptionally experienced musicians, playing alongside greats such as Mike Patton, Sivert Høyem and Kaizers Orchestra, they still haven’t lost their playfulness. Is it jazz, rock or electronica? I’ll have them all, please!

sound-in-light

What?
James Turrell’s installation piece “Ganzfeld: Double Vision” at Ekeberg sculpture park is build on the principles of the Ganzfeld effect. The Ganzfeld effect makes you experience complete blindness as the brain is exposed to unstructured stimuli for longer periods of time. The musical piece “SOUND/IN LIGHT” is made so that you experience something similar for sounds as repetitive masses of high notes and interference seek to take attention away from the visual, and highlight the feeling of hearing. Performed by singer and composer Kristin Bolstad accompanied by Linea Haug, Eira Huse and Eva B. Landro. A truly unique experience!

Where?
Ekebergparken, Kongsveien 23
How much?
350NOK
